Expense book, 1864-1873.

Consists of nearly daily notes of money spent over a ten year period in the middle of the 19th century. Expenses are recorded for food, house repairs, church contributions, painting, reading materials, travel, taxes, insurance, clock repair, medicine, coal, and hair cuts, among other things. Each year's expenses are totaled.
